PM Kisan Samman Nidhi was launched on 24th Feb, 2019 to provide financial help to all the farmers and their families in the country. The main aim of PM-KISAN is to help farmers financially for their needs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs.
Under this Scheme, ₹6000/- is provided per annum in 3 instalments every 4 months by the Government of India.
Pm Kisan is a Central Sector Scheme with 100% funding from Government of India.
PM Kisan Registration
One can enroll under this scheme by visiting the dedicated web portal www.pmkisan.gov.in
In the Farmers corner, click on the new farmer registration, a new window will open having New Farmer Registration Form, select whether you are doing the registration as rural or urban farmer and fill up the necessary details like Aadhar no., mobile no., select your state and click on get OTP.
One can proceed further only if Aadhar is authenticated with UIDAI.
After Aadhar authentication, fill up your personal details and submit.
Pm kisan status
If one has registered for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, one can check Pm kisan status by using either Registration Number or Mobile Number or by Aadhar Card Number.

Pm Kisan KYC
KYC is mandatory for PM Kisan registered farmers. There are two types of KYC one is OTP-based KYC which is available on the PM Kisan portal while other one is biometric-based KYC which can be done at the nearest CSC centers.

The next that is 14th installment of Pm Kisan is expected to be released in June 2023.
Who is Eligible for PM-KISAN?
All land holding farmers’ families who have cultivable lands in their names are eligible to get benefit under this scheme.
Earlier when the scheme was launched,it was only applicable to small and marginal farmers’ families having combined land holding of 2 hectare, but later it was amended. Now it is applicable to all the farmer families No matter how much land they hold under their names.

There is also an app available with the name PMKISAN GoI developed by National Informatics Centre.

What are the necessary Documents required for PM-KISAN?

How to check beneficiary status of PM-KISAN?
In the farmers corner on the web portal http://www.pmkisan.gov.in click on Beneficiary Status, enter your registered mobile number or registration number and click on Get Data. The status of your PM – KISAN will appear on the screen.
What if multiple farmers’ families’ names are recorded on single landholding?
In case there are multiple farmers’ families whose name are recorded on a single landholding, each of these families will be eligible for PM-KISAN.
Each of such family will receive the benefit of ₹6000/- yearly.
Whether micro land holdings are acceptable under this scheme?
No, micro land holdings which are not cultivable are not eligible to get benefit under this scheme.
What if agricultural land is used for non agricultural purposes?
If agricultural land is used for non-agriculture purposes, such type of land holding will not be covered to get benefit under this scheme.
